Tech Meetings: November 4, 2003

Our first meeting in our new digs was a great success. Fifteen Perl Mongers braved the continual downpour for Perl camraderie and Andy Lester's talk on the most useful of Perl's command-line options (PDF slides). There were plenty of new members, and a number of Mongers went for beers afterwards, continuing the Perl discussion into the night.

We also gave away a half dozen Perl books O'Reilly and Sams Publishing, including the new Perl Cookbook and the Perl Developer's Dictionary.

Next meeting is December 9th, with Steven Lembark discussing the Perl debugger. We hope to see you there.
